Dans le cadre du PNA en faveur du Puffin des Baléares, un séminaire international a été organisé du 24 au 26 juin 2024 au Croisic, en Loire-Atlantique.

Ce séminaire a permis de réunir un grand nombre d'acteurs français impliqués dans les actions du PNA, mais aussi des partenaires espagnols, portugais et anglais qui travaillent sur la connaissance et/ou la conservation de cette espèce. Un cinquantaine de personnes ont pu participer, sur place ou par visio.

Deux demi-journées ont été consacrées à des présentations orales, au travers de 4 thématiques (Démographie, taxonomie / Distribution, migration / Interaction avec les pêcheries, bycatch / Interaction avec les parcs éoliens en mer). Une autre demi-journée a permis à la SEO et la SPEA (partenaires Birdlife en Espagne et au Portugal) d'animer un atelier dédié à l'évaluation et à la révision du Plan international d'action pour le Puffin des Baléares.

Enfin, les participants ont pu profiter d'une sortie en bateau dans le Mor Braz pour observer oiseaux et mammifères marins, animée par Faune-Océan.
